Human Capital Strategy
Aligning Human Capital Strategy With Business Strategy is absolutely necessary to ensure optimal performance in today’s hyper competitive, constantly changing business climate.  Larry Bossidy and Ram Charan said best in Execution while describing the gap that nobody knows, “...strategy by itself is not often the cause.  Strategies most often fail because they aren’t executed well”, and to execute your organization must have the right people, in the right place, at the right time.  

The first step in developing a strategy is Defining the Future State of Talent for your organization based on the business’ mission and goals.  The second step is Assessing the Current State of Talent to gain an accurate picture of where your organization is today.  The third step is Identifying the Gaps so you can prioritize your investment of resources.  The fourth and final step is Developing a Strategic Human Capital Plan which outlines the actions your organization should take given the resources at your disposal to ensure you have the talent your organization needs, where the organization needs it, and at the right time.
